Enhance your ZSP based product development and testing using the dual subscriber- line interface circuit daughterboard. The compact DTSLIC2L features a complete dual analog phone line.

Create a complete two line demonstration platform for Voice Over IP by combining the DTSLIC2L and any ZSP evaluation board. Multiple boards may be combined.

DTSLICPWR board

Description

The DTSLIC2L contains two powered line interface jacks and a compact, economical dual-channel analog telephone interface: the SI3220-FQ Dual ProSLIC(R). The Si3220 is controlled by an 8-bit micro-controller which interfaces to the ZSP through a 2 line I²C interface. The SI3220 is fully programmable and has on-chip functions for DTMF generation/decoding, FSK caller ID generation, and modem tone detection help; in addition, its integrated test and line monitoring feature allows remote subscriber loop and line card diagnostics to be performed without centralized test equipment. Programmable internal ring generation is provided also.

The DTSLIC2L interfaces with ZSP evaluation boards through a serial ports. The DTSLIC2L requires the DTSLICPWR board to supply power. Up to 4 DTSLIC2L boards may be powered by one DTSLICPWR. The DTSLICPWR requires a 7.5V DC power supply.

Measuring 3.75 inches by 2.5 inches, DTSLIC2L is a complete dual analog phone line SLIC daughtercard for the ZSP evaluation boards. This card, combined with an evaluation board such as the EB403LC, provides a complete two line demonstration platform for Voice Over IP.

Demo Software

Use the DtSlicGui software, Java and MFC C++ sources included with Verisilicion's ZViewIDE, to communicate with the SLIC from the PC through the ZSP host. For more information on the GUI programs, review the Users Guide: dtslic2l_ug.pdf (364 KB).
